I'm reminded of Jim Prentice's comments exhorting Albertans to look in the mirror to find where the fault lay for not developing sustainable revenue sources. Conservatives have been in power for my entire adult life, with one brief exception. They are incapable of managing the province's finances.

The fact that the lowest-tax province in Canada runs constant budget deficits but complains about the programs undertaken in other provinces, or by the feds, really ought to be a source of greater intra-provincial shaming.
