A question I keep hearing from folks across Canada is pretty simple: “What the heck is going on in Alberta?” It’s a fair question, given all the headlines lately. Separatism is a real threat, and it’s time for Canada, politicians and citizens alike, to act.

Yesterday, it was announced that Alberta hospitals are at 102% capacity. Doctors, patients, and families are sounding the alarm, but the government won't admit there is a crisis or say who is in charge. That is not a safe health care system. Albertans deserve so much better.
