Joe: I am a 73 year-old retired mechanic in Forsberg, Nebraska. My 3 biggest problems are Iran's uranium enrichment capability, the casting of Helen in Christopher Nolan's "Odyssey," and the ability of Tennesseeans to check out "Roots" from a library 1000 media outlets: can we please talk at length

Alex Haley grew up in Tennessee. He traced his family tree back to his original enslaved, African ancestor, then wrote 'Roots'. He received a Pulitzer Prize for it. Knoxville just banned it 'cause it might make white kids sad.

Saw another “we bought this before we knew Elon was crazy” sticker on a Tesla today. You know crazy isn’t the issue. I love crazy. There are a lot of fantastic crazy people. Really it’s “we bought this before we knew Elon was a Nazi.” And no you didn’t. That shit was pretty clear hella long ago

In the same press gaggle, Trump said he doubled the size of his ballroom and he doesn’t care about Americans’ financial situations. I am begging the media — act like Obama or Biden did this shit and cover it the way you would have then.

again, i don’t think any of this is necessary. just say that the court was out of bounds, that it may be correct on the definition of “election” but that this technical matter has no bearing on the results of the referendum, which occurred in a free and fair contest.

Based on this Virginia ruling, the Tennessee and Florida maps should both also be shot down. If not, Virginia should just pull a Tennessee and change the rules to ram it though the legislature. 🤷♂️

Again this should inspire wall-to-wall media coverage for months. The crowning achievement of the Civil Rights Movement is dead. Black people just lost all of their remaining political power in the South. This is a monumental moment in American history that simply isn't being treated as such.
