A couple days ago, they were deep in the reeds, like moving shadows with a hint of orange. But this morning one decided to explore and popped out of the reeds for just a bit. This is a baby Sora, and as it dashed to another reed clump, those little wings helped for balance! #Birds 🪶

Just found out about a $400usd dumb phone wanna-be that doesn't let you use a browser and in my professional anti smartphone opinion, that is wrong. You should still be able to go online, it should just be an annoying experience so you only bother with it if you actually need to.

Next summer (when we'll have our own kitchen) I'm going to make so many cold noodles... (might have some summertime time for it this year, but might be too busy moving in and visiting family to really get into trying new recipes, idk.)

But all of these companies turned what could be a social good into a ruinous capitalist hellscape and that's a problem that persists through the ENTIRE pipeline, not just the point of sale.

I really enjoyed this piece, and the reflection of how these games fit in to moments of life. Both the game boy hardware and the games were designed with this in mind - AND they delivered a quality experience at a low price point. I think about that a lot and really miss the era of handheld games.
