It didn't go together perfectly, but probably fine. Wayyy better than last week's lap joint came out. Even though it was harder to chisel the end grain faces, I found the padauk a lot more forgiving (resistant to mistakes) than last week's softer cherry. Padauk does want to flake/chip a lot though.

Woodworking teacher said I just cut the most square mortise and tenon she's seen in her two years of doing this class.
