I really enjoyed Spider-Noir. As a big Noir fan, it's not as much of a pastiche as I would've hoped, but when it works it works. And Nic Cage as Spidey is just inspired.

Not many people know that "Up Where We Belong" was officially licensed for the super secret true ending of Starfox 64, and then subsequently cut. But the newly uncompressed audio has been found here!

With this character, because of his glowy nature, his outer lines needed to be a lighter color while his facial details use black. Because of this, blending the two could seem clunky, but this ended up being my solution and plays well in motion! Just a simple linear grad!

Takashi Tezuka, LEGENDARY Nintendo Director (and all around artist), is retiring. This list is just a TASTE of his work. But directing Super Mario Bros 3 AND The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (as well as the OG LoZ) is enough to easily put this man on the Mt Rushmore of games!

There used to be something simpler here, but then I thought, "Is this Mouse Mansion REALLY insane in any way?" #insanemousemansion

Auto trace is great, but the masking system is so wonky that I've got to go back through and manually adjust tons of mask layers, frame by frame. It's a pain, but the effect looking really nice in motion!

Compositor pals! I'm having trouble with masks on an auto-traced layers in After Effects. Basically, certain masks are appearing outside the keyframe where they should appear and I'm having trouble figuring out how to resolve. Mask opacity doesn't seem to work.
