i don't think writer's block "doesn't exist" per se but i do think it's just a story's way of telling you that you made a wrong turn somewhere. the solution is almost always sleep on it, reread what you wrote, &/or talk it through with yourself/someone until you can identify and fix the disconnect.

that's the big lifehack that changed writing for me, especially fiction: never fully delete anything. have a designated junk space to save the stuff you end up cutting/rewriting but fear might prove useful. you probably won't use any of it, but it FEELS less wasteful and sometimes that's enough
