I’m sure there are plausible exceptions for it, but in my humble know nothing opinion, the digital (ebook) copy of a book should never be more expensive than a print edition. They’re getting more expensive bc there’s a demand and publishers are greedy, not because they *should* cost more.

Imo, good books should be published regardless of what’s selling or trendy. I do know publishing is a business, but it’s a business that’s been taken over by negative influencing forces that aren’t always based in reality. Books are important. Non-fiction books are history in the making, etc.

Something that more people need to embrace about the importance of public library organizing is that it's a good foundation to organize for other public goods. We need to explicitly connect library organizing with parks organizing as just one example and so on and so forth...
