The Department of Homeland Security is buying warehouses to house immigrants, most of whom have no criminal record and are legally here (or were legally here TPS was taken away). I want my tax dollars spent on disease research, affordable housing, health care, food... We do NOT need more prisons!

Policy on renewable energy is putting the US behind China and most other countries. Cheap clean fuel going up worldwide including in the US. But slower adoption here due to government choices. I will vote for subsides for renewables and removing subsidy for fossil fuels.

In 2026 there were 2 murders in Minneapolis, one by ICE. The crime rate in Minneapolis shows a reduction in crime in every category between 2019 -2024 (last year statistics available). ICE is not in Minneapolis to make people safer. Their presence there makes the city less safe.

The most valuable asset on Greenland is the two mile sheet of ice on the ground/rock there. If it all melts the sea level goes up by 23 feet! We need to move away from expensive dirty energy to cheap clean energy. It's good for our health, our pocket book and our future.
