Water is essential to all life. It is a common good. It belongs to all of us. It is not a capitalist profiteering commodity.

Water should never be in private hands.

Boards only reward shareholders so that they can pump customers money into their own bank accounts. Despite selling off huge areas of English land they still are borrowing enormous amounts of money to pump into shareholders and board members bank accounts. With the full support of OFWAT of course.

Now there can be no profit allowed in water, power, healthcare, housing, food, the basics. Our system worked OK for a while until market manipulation, industry consolidation, excessive executive pay, stock buybacks etc. made investors and profit all that mattered. NOT a free enterprise system. ☠️

💧Water is a basic service, not a cash machine 🤑 While bills rise and sewage pours into our rivers and seas, water companies keep rewarding shareholders. Enough is enough. It's time to bring water back into public ownership. Add your name:
