The exit liquidity for insiders at SpaceX will be everyone's 401ks and pension funds that are required to buy stocks within the index as part of index funds. It's so criminal what they're doing. Not just the blatant raiding of retirement funds but changing the rules to allow for this.

It's absolutely insane how the Nasdaq changed rules around its exchange to include SpaceX just 15 days of trading, allow less than 5% of free float, and require a weighting of multiple its float in the index. This is the largest wealth transfer in history from everyone's retirement to Elon.

He made this campaign promise in response to @nycplan.org’s demand, which was always very clear: we expect to see this commitment reflected in every financial plan released during Mayor Mamdani's mayoralty, and it’s the floor not the ceiling.

After his May 12th Executive Budget came up $97 million short for libraries, Mamdani was questioned about his 0.5% public library funding promise and when he’d deliver on it. He said “yes, that 0.5% goal continues to be a goal, and we will achieve that goal by the time I'm done being mayor.”

It's a revealing feature of virtually every conservative "culture war" panic that people who were actually in top positions of authority and running the show (pun intended) claim that the ones with *real* unbounded power are actually their nameless low-level subordinates.
