as the night lows drop to almost freezing across the bay where most people let alone the unhoused are prepared for it im thinking of this once again. i hope for a day where the empathy can be towards keeping everyone housed forever because we have ended homelessness through compassion

Several of my recent shifts have been unusually stressful or more difficult than is typical. I've been confronted with handling a disorderly drunk person who was making inappropriate comments to women and girls on my bus. There's been onerous reroutes related to a Waymo involved collision.

Golden Gate Park was once home to high-speed auto racing (It did not end well)
Speeds were high and safety was low in the Guardsmen classic, a short-lived automobile race that accelerated through San Francisco’s biggest park. We found the startling photos.
