This morning's King Tide reached 7.4 feet at the Port San Luis tide gauge, a few inches higher than predicted, and flooded the Pasadena parking lot in Baywood Park.

King Tides on Tomales Bay this morning.

Just down the trail from those other photos, the #KingTides completely flooded Virginia Street Extension, a trail along the southern boundary of Berkeley's north basin in McLaughlin Eastshore State Park. Over the 10+ years I've gone here for king tides, the riprap has been significantly eroded.

I popped over to my local shoreline for some quick #KingTides views this morning, 12/4/2025. This trail was completely flooded. SW corner of north basin in Berkeley, where Cesar Chavez Park/Marina Blvd meets Virginia St Extension/McLaughlin Eastshore State Park. Rocks on the right are riprap.
