A deeper look into how I perceive Spirit & Divinity: #OccultSky

The Acrostic Eye is the idea that as a Witch learns & practices their Craft the way we see, experience, & interact with the world changes. A simple concept, an essential truth in life even. One that can be carried over into other disciplines. As we learn & grow & act on it, we're changed.

Thinking about how identity is sometimes fluid and flexible with spirits. It's a common practice for theurgists and witches to invoke Divine powers, essentially *becoming* an avatar of that entity for the duration of the ritual. I think spirits/Gods also invoke one another in a similar manner.

In ancient japan until the modern day there was the tradition of the death poem. Now we have the tradition of the Death Post. It may arise on bsky, twitter, or facebook. It is the last conscious words of human going into eternity, and their wish to convey that infinity to us remaining mortals.
