Last week, Democrats voted for a bill that would keep the government open and restore health care funding for millions of Americans who rely on it. Republicans blocked that bill and left town. If the government shuts down, it's because they refused to negotiate.

Pennsylvanians are already feeling the effects of climate change through more frequent and severe extreme weather. Hundreds of lives and billions of dollars in damage have been lost. The EPA must maintain the Endangerment Finding to protect communities from the harms of climate change.

In 2009, the EPA found that greenhouse gasses endanger public health, and put in place measures to protect the environment. Now, Trump’s rolling back these protections, making us less safe, and devastating the environment. @houseseec.bsky.social and I are demanding he restore these protections.
