This week, we acknowledged the unsung heroes. The ones who work every single day to make people safer in our communities.

This is a heartbreaking, disturbing pattern. After ICE wrongfully arrested a Delaware mom, they tried to release her outside an airport 1,000 miles from home with no documentation, no money, and no way to get back. This inhumane treatment is costing lives. It has to stop.

In less than 24 hours, Trump went from saying he'll never cut Medicaid (he already passed the largest cut in history last year) to holding the program hostage for an entire state. Trump is using the most vulnerable people in our communities as political pawns. It's disgusting.

Trump just thinks that affordability is a buzzword. Americans know better – it can literally be a matter of life and death.

As the lowest lying state in the nation, Delaware's already feeling the impacts of the climate crisis. While Trump puts polluters over people, I'm proud to be in this fight with @lcv.org. Together, we'll do all we can to pass a livable planet on to future generations.

Today, the Trump administration's Surgeon General nominee tried to tell us that this administration would never ask her to do anything unethical.   Let's not forget that RFK Jr did exactly that less than six months ago.   How can we be sure it won't happen again?
