Republicans are trying to make an issue out of what’s happening outside Delaney because they don’t want to acknowledge what’s happening inside. The more visibility the public gets into these privately run, for-profit detention centers, whatever is left of Trump’s remaining support will erode.

We will never stop showing up, and we will never stop telling the stories of the people being detained at Delaney Hall - until we shut it down for good.

Secretary Mullin's plan to halt international flights at Newark is one of the dumbest ideas I've ever heard and will hurt our economy. Yet, this Administration never ceases to amaze me with how far they will go to manufacture chaos and spin lies to the American people.

Tonight, I returned to Delaney Hall after reports of four people being taken to the hospital following an incident inside the facility. What is going on at Delaney is a stain on our country and this Administration.

I promised Martin’s wife that I wouldn’t leave until I found him. After 18 straight hours on the ground, first at Delaney Hall and now at EDC, we finally got to see and speak with Martin.

We spent all night at Delaney Hall and I’m grateful to Governor Sherrill, Senator Kim, and our NJ colleagues for continuing the fight this morning. We will not stop until we get answers for the families and loved ones of those inside.

Last night I arrived at Delaney Hall to conduct an unannounced oversight visit after hearing a constituent was facing potential transfer or deportation for his role in the recent strike.

Delaney Hall represents everything that is wrong with our country under the Trump Administration. It needs to be shut down and everyone inside needs to be reunited with their families and communities. Thank you to Senator Kim for your partnership in this fight. 🤝

We conducted a surprise oversight visit at Delaney Hall with Rep. McIver and Rep. Mejia after receiving a letter signed by nearly 300 people inside about the abhorrent conditions.

I don’t know a single constituent who supports the Trump Admin taking nearly $2 billion of your hard-earned tax dollars to pay out Jan. 6 insurrectionists & to protect Trump’s inner circle.

First, DHS claimed they didn’t know where Adriana was. Now, they say they can’t bring her back because of the Ebola outbreak in the DRC (a crisis the Trump Admin exacerbated by cutting USAID funding).

The Trump Administration is hiding the truth about Adriana because they know their actions can't stand the light of day.

The Trump Administration is using FAA systems to hide deportation flights from the public and Congress. We are demanding answers from the FAA on these flights, including unsafe conditions.

Weeks after deporting Adriana to the DRC and after a federal judge ordered for her return, the Trump Administration claims they don’t know where she is. The truth? She is exactly where ICE left her.

House Republicans blocked my amendment to stop the Trump Admin from punishing VA workers for mourning their colleague, Alex Pretti, who was killed by federal agents in broad daylight. Republicans chose taxpayer-funded intimidation over protecting federal workers.

My dear friend, Bill Pascrell, embodied the spirit of New Jersey and his hometown of Paterson (“one t”). Grateful to Hudson County Exec Craig Guy for renaming the Hudson County Public Safety Training Center in Bill’s honor as a tribute to a man who gave everything to the community he loved.

Our office has been working for nearly a year to get Adriana home. Being in the room when the federal judge ordered the Trump Administration to return her was an incredibly emotional moment. We are one step closer—and we won't stop until she’s home.

The absolute best part of this job is this right here. I just got to call our caseworker who has been pouring their heart and soul into Adriana’s case for over a year to share the news from court.

🚨🚨A federal judge has ordered ICE to take all available steps to bring Adriana back to the US! I was proud to be with her lawyer during today’s hearing in DC and grateful for our incredible team who has been working on this matter with such skill and care.

Putting a GEO Group executive who has profited off of ICE ripping families apart is just doubling down on a system that prioritizes profits over people.

The Trump Admin tried to prevent us from entering Delaney Hall a year ago but they couldn’t stop us then & they can’t stop us now.
