Absolutely wild pink nitrogen ribbon aurora burst last night here in Iceland. There was cloud cover, and I was worried the show would stay shrouded. Voila! The purpley-pink & white ribbons are much closer to us in the atmosphere than standard green arcs, and are fast moving. #northernlights #aurora

I wanted to be cool like my brother who was an artist. Then I kept drawing to dissociate from a life of turmoil. No one encouraged me, art teachers actively put me down all the time. I often imagine that my skill would be better if I had any encouragement growing up. I kept drawing out of spite.
