Almost done with one of 2 detailed painting commissions. I think i will be taking a break from these till I learn a bit more with personal paintings/speed up my process a little. They are so challenging for me, and i just realised I've only really done like....a dozen ever!

Adobe may as well just have a AI generated animation, of a robot eating art. Shitting the processed slop onto a plate made of money, setting it on fire, and eating it again. It would be a pretty good illustration of what that company has become these days.

Moss Grats! As one of my earlier designs, I have a real soft spot for these guys. Half posable art doll, half resin sculpture. These guys have ball jointed articulated necks, and wired arms and tails for gentle posing. These 4 will be ready for adoption soon!

A fall beast, regarding it's reflection. This is one of the many new shots I got while taking my art dolls out to a local waterfall near me today. This creature is a large ball jointed art doll. And includes a feral Australian red fox skull, faux and real rabbit fur, and sculpted resin parts!

I like to remind people when I can of the incredible artist of "Poco critters" Caileigh Goodrich. Who I discovered around 2009. & I personally see as one of the OG creators of poseable/mohair animal art dolls of today! who's work is hard to find records of these days online.

This little shit decided to give me heart palpitations for 2 days. Flew from the aviary (has never homed before) & got lost and didn't return over night. Then spent all day today jumping from roof to roof not knowing how to fly back down... At least I got some nice photos out of the experience <_>

Still one of my favorite things I have made for myself over the years. These are large silk faery wings! They are lightweight and comfortable to wear. I'd like to make some half sized ones in the future for people to buy. But time is forever a problem, I have so many things to do aaa!

Kira is finally 100% back to her normal (driving me insane with her energy <3) self. The antibiotics seem to have really dealt with the swelling! Vet said we just now need to wait to see if there's a relapse. If there is, its most probably a unseen tooth issue and she will need more tests.

Speed paint done a few years back on my switch using colors live! My pen broke after completing this, and I've been having a lot of issues getting a replacement pen and nibs...but hopefully I can use this again soon, I miss it! ;_;

Working on new wooden dino charms for upcoming events! I have Baryonyx, Parasaurolophus, Austroraptor, and Tyrannosaurus rex so far! (Some of these were drawn a long time ago, or with a bit more time to spare. So the style isn't super consistent. But that's OK!) What would people like to see next?

Sadly he's been like this for a good while. And has mentioned before that he is comfortable and safe from it's ill effects. So he sadly has displayed a very "On the fence, pros and cons" kind of attitude which I can not get behind. It shows a distinct lack of care about what its doing to his peers.

Been a stressful night/day. Kira stopped eating last night and her face swelled up majorly. Had to stay up with her all night till vet could see her. She had a massive fever but no signs of tooth injury and vets a bit unsure what it is. So anti inflammatory injections & anti biotics for now.

I can't imagine what a deep, gross, slimy personality a person must possess. To want to work for ICE of all things. I'd rather be destitute and homeless than take money in return for the horrific, deeply racist, and nasty work they do. Bottom feeder behaviour if ever I have seen.

This year has been a real shift for me in many ways. I finally, fully gave up on the career I spent so much of my life pursuing (working in the industry). & decided to, in extreme financial uncertainty focus entirely on my convention work. Its been hard, tiering, stressful but extremely rewarding!

With the new year comes my soon to be flood of commission work posting. So here is my annual warning. If you do not like #furry art, and watch me for my sculptural work...surprise! I do both! Jan-Feb is 100% commission work time so expect a lot of that sort of art before I return to art dolls :)
