"Kavanaugh Stop" went from a skeet on here to Bluesky meme to crosspollinating over on X to Brett Kavanaugh's burner account seeing it there to a whiny defensive footnote about it in a decision by the Supreme Court of the United States. Juice.

Kavanaugh goes out of his way to pen a footnote not having to deal with the case at hand. He appears to be trying to narrow the forces he unleashed with his prior opinion allowing for race- and ethnicity-based #KavanaughStops

IL Gov. J.B. Pritzker's office has issued a release on the economic and social impact of Operation Midway Blitz, citing Chalkbeat, WBEZ and other news outlets.

This bit stood out to me in the release: per a 10/31 Chalkbeat report, 38 Chicago neighborhoods saw a school attendence dip sharper than in the district as a whole amid Midway Blitz. Chalkbeat reported that "about 40% of those are home to large immigrant or Latino populations."
