The IMPOTENCE of Democrats during this time makes me question our form of Government. Our checks and balances didnโt work. Our entire system didnโt work, because weโre dealing with a Criminal Cabal. Weโre dealing with people who donโt care what anyone thinks about them. They have no conscience.

Democrats should become the anti-corruption party. 72% of voters think a member of Congress would likely accept a bribe if offered one. 80% say donors run DC. The solution isnโt left vs right, itโs clean vs corrupt. But first, Democrats must reform themselves and reject big money.

Disney/ABC have a responsibility to refuse to participate in corruption. Kimmel must be reinstated. If Disney/ABC agree to this extortion then perhaps creatives + workers should consider collective action to push back. Same w/buying park + cruise tickets if they bow. People have power. Ask Target

Honestly if Disney feels like the material of late night comics are not โon brandโ for the company (as some defenders of Iger have claimed), then maybe it should stick to amusement parks and get out of broadcast TV. I say this as a Disney shareholder. (And good for Eisner for speaking up!)

This is as huge a scandal & blunder as this chaotic Administration has seen. The person who should be called to answer for it is Secy Kristi Noem. When a woman who loves the camera as much as Noem is nowhere to be seen for 10 days itโs b/c sheโs hiding out. Media should be all over this.

Political violence is bad. It usually begets more political violence. Celebrating political violence is bad. It usually encourages more political violence, against various targets. Campus shootings are bad. They make everyone on campus less safe. It's bad that what I wrote here is controversial.

Political violence disproportionately hurts people with less power, not people with more power. Political violence will disproportionately hurt people of color and women and LGBTQ people. Itโs not fair, but thatโs the way it works. Celebrating political violence means at best indifference to that.
