Two days ago, Sen. Kennedy and I pressed Kristi Noem under oath whether the President approved her $220 million PR contract with the spouse of her former flack. She told our committee that Trump signed off. Today, Trump fired her.

Kristi Noem was reassigned as “Special Envoy" for the Shield of the Americas, she wasn't so much fired as reassigned. This position was created the same day she was removed as DHS secretary. So yeah...same shit, different day, different location. Same MAGA.

Putting Markwayne Mullin in charge of guarding the country is like putting the bouncer from Applebee’s in charge of NORAD.

Mullin is uniquely unqualified to even serve in the Senate. The only currently serving senator without at least a bachelor's degree. When first elected to Congress in 2012, he hosted House Talk, a home improvement radio program. Dumb as a box of hammers.

Democrats may not be able to prevent Mullin's confirmation, but they can certainly turn his track record of offense and stupidity into two days of televised humiliation so spectacular that he is wounded in Trump's eyes from day 1. That is the job.
