i'm enjoying dead as disco a lot, but aurora's meteor attack feels like absolute bullshit in a game so built around specific timed attacks and communicating to players how to dodge stuff it doesn't have a dodge prompt/iframes, it can come in from out of frame, and hits more than the yellow area

it *is* a bit weird that between Mixtape, Dead as Disco, and Wax Heads it's been a big week for music-focused titles

It's definitely the most Ico/Last Guardian/Shadow of the Colossus game I can point to recently. Beating up giant monster machines that are themselves platforming challenges Shadow of the Colossus style while also exploring a desaturated monochrome wasteland with a semi-silent pal feels very Ico/TLG.

Played through Motorslice this weekend and quite enjoyed it! Favorite part is the very ICO/Last Guardian style of world construction, where the whole game exists as a continuous structure you can see above and below yourself.
