Incredible achievement. The Chinese spacecraft Tianwen-2 has arrived in close proximity to the asteroid Kamo'oalewa, a 'quasi-satellite' of Earth. It will collect samples from this asteroid and return with them to Earth next year. Kamo'oalewa was once part of our Moon.

i played the original marathon games a lot, and my favorite weapon in those is the zeus in marathon 1 (not the zeus in 2 and infinity). that weapon is so aesthetically compelling.

i refactored a few things to tidy it up- these embankments which are used for the high buildings are now containerized and i will be using them for some other connections too, like connecting a high roof to a wall doorway.

i just got to the first ending in silent hill f! i don't want to spoil anything but it's really a pretty tight ship. i like the structuralist bent and the way the environments are such a direct extension of what they're doing thematically. also the art direction is pretty fabulous.

i just made it the farthest i ever have in Returnal- end of the citadel! the boss is pretty great. it's really fun to play this like a roguelike- mull over strategies, come back to it, hopefully make it further than last time.
