so anyway my game of the year 2025 is MechWarrior 5: Clans (2024) in which you play as a bunch of dumbass space eugenicists piloting huge clunky robots that are constantly overheating and lose at least one limb every mission and are always outnumbered and the voice acting fucking sucks ass. 10/10

one of the coolest things about this song is the little acoustic guitar flourish in the chorus. Tom said in an interview that he and Jeff Lynne believed acoustic guitars could be rock instruments and not just folk instruments and they demonstrate it all over that album.
