I gave this album a spin yesterday after listening to their first full-length and it really is an absolute gem I love how it picks up where the previous record left off a whole ten years earlier but then accelerates into new ideas in a clearly matured and seasoned way

I think I've realized that my approach to recording guitars is incorrect at a fundamental level. I record straight from my amp's output jack into my interface after dialing in a good tone, but by the time it gets in the mix as a whole, I'm applying sooo many levels of eq and compression to make it-
