the proximate reason i post here — beyond the fact that i like a lot of you and enjoy reading your thoughts and jokes and observations — is that this is a non-algorithmic platform where people share lots of stuff and people read what is shared. that's still valuable even if it doesn't "influence!"

This is the fundamental reason I’m opposed to AI. It’s IP theft that is now being weaponized by people whose behavior should amount to harassment and incitement.

What I learned tonight is the future of the Democratic Party is a trans Muslim CIA agent wine mom who wants to eliminate capitalism and barter with people on the free bus.

All 17 Constitutional amendments in Texas are set to pass. To get on the ballot, they needed 2/3 support in the House, meaning at least 12 Democrats to support. Serious conversations are needed about how nearly half of these even made it onto the ballot. Time to start holding our own accountable

Tonight’s election results are proof that Americans are demanding change. Texans want access to affordable health care, lower costs, public schools, and good jobs. When Texans finally have a governor who prioritizes our needs, we’ll deliver real results for working families across the state.
