Second round of @bsbibotany.bsky.social #NewYearPlantHunt and I found absolutely no flowers at the chalk pits, only moss, lichen and berries. 20 species of #PavementPlants on the walk home including non-seasonal cornflower and small-flowered cranesbill.

6km walked and 22 species spotted, nearly all either #PavementPlants or in suburban grass verges. One slightly unusual spot, a white ramping-fumitory. Went back to check on the stinking hellebore from last year but she's not out yet. @bsbibotany.bsky.social #NewYearPlantHunt
