Honestly, students have a right to learn. Higher education has a lot of self-reflection to do, we’ve lost bildung a while ago. Knowledge is being attacked on several fronts, and as teachers we have to imbue students with the joy of knowing, showing them that it’s not only instrumental.

In this thread there’s also a very interesting paper on memory and AI. Next up would be to take on nostalgia and GAI. I highly doubt that this app will explain the difficulty of “history” and how contingent it is on perspective etc etc.
