The thing is I’m not here for Endless Discourse and reminders of how I don’t do enough so I’m the problem, either. I’m here to make dumb jokes for an audience of 14 longtime internet friends.

Americans, not other countries, paid Trump's tariffs in 2025
President Donald Trump has repeatedly said foreigners would pay for his import tariffs. A new report says Americans picked up most of the tab.

This is a vivid, horribly relevant read. “She does not sleep well. And as you lift up her pajama top to check her rash one morning, you see that her breathing is labored, shadows pooling between her ribs when she sucks in air. You suffer an icy moment of realization: This is a medical crisis.”

Here Dr. Trueger underscores the absurdity — current recommendations for flu vaccination explicitly mention the GSK Fluarix quadrivalent (FDA approved) so that’s an entirely sensible comparator and standard to improve on if possible I just don’t get the “thinking” here if it exists
