I updated www.qfgbook.com this morning, mostly in the FAQ section, to reflect all the new info!

On my third proofing pass of the complete book I found an image that was upside-down. I'm learning a new level of respect for proofing (and publishing any large project in general)

We are technically ahead of schedule for publishing. I don't know what this means for a possible release date but it has to be a good thing, right? In other news I have a new layout to proof, this time to make sure all feedback was caught. Incredibly exciting stuff!

Boy do I feel this

In reviewing, I realized I use a lot of em dashes (I always have in my writing) and at this stage in the game it's too late to rewrite so I use fewer. Before anyone calls me out on AI use, let me just say I hate AI with the fire of 1000 suns and like 95% of this was written before AI was available

I'm at the "proofing laid out chapters" stage and let me tell you friends, this is exciting

I've typed the word "screenshot" so many times today my hands are autocorrecting it as "screenshit" lol

Is there anyone out there who's an expert in correct aspect ratios for old PC games who can help me answer some questions about my screenshots, and my ScummVM settings? Feel free to DM me.

The "head into danger" start option in Quest for Glory V is a debug option that was accidentally left in the game

I mentioned a partnership that gives me access to a trove of QFG concept art, sketches, photos, and original paintings. I just tallied everything and removed dupes and there are 256 individual assets to add to the book. A nice round number too! How about a little preview? :)
