if you work in tech, especially in AI, imo you should read "The Making of the Atomic Bomb" by Richard Rhodes. long book, it's got a very good, 35 hour long audiobook. i like that one its not so much a history of the Manhattan Project, as ~8 biographies braided together you should read it.
