i made some presets and IRs for this, it's a plugin that lets you do a lot of things to convolution nothing else does (afaik). the most interesting bit about it to me personally is that it lets you smoothly modulate an IRs pitch, to eg keytrack it or attack an lfo to it. read: IRs as a modal synth

Feel like one thing sort of looming over electronic music at the moment is that a process that is spiritually draining may not be worth it, no matter how good the results it gets you. A method that is technically superior will still lead to worse music, if its just not very inspiring/fulfilling/fun?

i have this dream where you dont need to add any reverb to a mix, because you can just add lots of layers and basically "synthesize" an approximation of where the reverb would be and get so much better control that way, i wonder how feasible this actually is. i just really dont like reverb
