The Kess deck was a very important learning moment for me. I was playing modern at the time, and i had a real competitive streak in me. I had built Kess to be as powerful storm deck as I could manage with our modest collection, and the deck couldn't easily find its win condition 1/6

Three of my first four commander decks started as precons that I modified, and I think Gishath may have been the first deck I really built from scratch after some failed experiments with some other cards and learning the rules more thoroughly.
