For theory, I always thought that the story on how the proof was found is much more valuable than the super optimized backward engineered final version of it which, most of the time, kills the intuition but "looks impressive", I would love to see more on this in small "sketch" paragraphs

Depends how you count. US GDP today is around $30 trillion, so Musk's wealth is "only" around 1.7% of US GDP. Rockefeller's wealth was estimated at 2-3% of US GDP in 1913 (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_D....).

It was a *lot* of fun editing this Special Issue in honour of Vince. The topics covered in these papers barely scratch the surface of Vince's wide-ranging interests and contributions. But I think they nicely reflect Vince's early research interests going back all the way to his PhD...
