This is probably my best photo from 2025. Very depressing to make work like this but necessary I think. His name is Rory from the Adelphi tent encampment. Evicted by Westminster Council just before Christmas. No idea where he is now.

Absolutely nobody asked for this BUT English Anglican cathedrals that have burned down, fallen over, and sank into the swamp: a thread.

The Dutch sold live eels from ships on the London Thames for 600 years, only leaving in 1938. But by the 1930s they weren't transporting eels in these ships anymore. The ships stayed parked on the Thames as an antiquarian storefront & the Dutch refilled them from modern tankers. 🗃️🧪
