Late tonight, a federal judge issued a sweeping new order prohibiting the president from deploying any National Guard forces—from any state or DC—to Oregon. The president cannot keep playing whack-a-mole with different states’ Guard units to get around court orders and the rule of law.

This is a breathtaking abuse of the law and power by the President of the United States. America is on the brink of martial law. Do not be silent.

This is the biggest attack on free speech since the McCarthy era but it also has significantly less popular consensus behind it than the second Red Scare. It's being done on behalf of a minority faction led by the most unpopular president in modern history. Organizing against this can win.

Jimmy Kimmel was suspended by ABC after pressure from the United States government. This is a direct attack on the First Amendment. Everyone who values freedom of speech should be outraged — and they should speak out.
