It’s time to watch Dragonwyck!

One of my pick-ups from the show were these excellent Silent Screamers figures! Made by Mezco, I've beem eyeing them for a while. I've had Maria (Metropolis) from the line for over a decade now, I just never got these. So glad I have them now. Love how stylized they are.

Starts out strong. The dystopia presented only feels more possible given the state of things. But Despite a winning performance from Powell, the movie eventually loses steam. The movie seems to slough off a lot of its personality as it runs toward the finish line. I was entertained overall though.

Okay The Running Man wins mostly for timing purposes. lol. But if I’m feeling pumped up enough maybe I’ll do a double feature!? Or see Badlands this week. I don’t want to miss either and Wicked For Good is almost here.

I don't care if they ARE the last place that has "stock" of pre-orders, I'm never ordering from GameStop again. What a complete mess. Their retail is broken. Their "customer service" is beyond a joke. I refuse to even step foot into their stores ever again.

Watched Herzog’s Aguirre, The Wrath of God. An intriguing minimalist film with some truly hypnotic shots. Definitely “deliberately paced” as the explorers trying to find El Dorado succumb to the dangers of the Amazon and themselves. Humans following charismatic madmen to their doom. #FilmSky

I love Severin for letting me know movies like this exist. First of all, I'd have been more interested in the Bible if there were more hot people in it. And cannibals. And pterodactyls. I'm guessing this story wouldn't have made it into Superbook or The Flying House, though.
