Anyone here played this? I’m around 50 hours in, nearing the endgame.. the story is rather mediocre, the voice acting is mostly passable (a few are atrocious), but the battle system and side quests and inventory are all exceptional and have kept me hooked. Just wish everything else was up to snuff.

Sonic Frontiers (2022, PS5) Rating: 9/10 Wow, did this exceed my expectations. Satisfying and challenging, with a wonderful variety of puzzles and platforming. Fun and addicting gameplay. The somber, ambient score is an odd choice, but I loved it. So much to see, do, and explore. Play it on PS5!

Amerzone (2025, PS5) Rating: 9.5/10 First, Werner Herzog would *love* this game. Second, who in the world asked for a remake of this obscure 1999 point and click title? Whoever it was.. thank you! This was an incredible journey. Beautiful scenery, exquisite music, intriguing world. I was engrossed.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (2016, PS4) Rating: 8/10 A huge world to explore with vibrant, saturated colors. Cool character and creature designs, excellent music, satisfying combat. The writing is rather flat, which is a shame because the core story is actually very interesting. My 41 hours flew by.
