2025 sucked. I had some pretty serious medical stuff continue to get worse, my crippling debt because of said medical stuff has only grown, and the never-ending fight to just tread water physically and mentally absolutely drained me. But I lived, bitch, and hopefully 2026 will be better.

Time for my twice-yearly take that fireworks are bad and, outside of theme parks and stuff, they should be banned from general use. Especially in residential areas.

I read more books this year (216) than I ever have before, and that's because I made reading my top priority hobby. I watched less tv, played fewer games, and spent more time buried in books. I don't regret it for a second tbh. I plan on doing the same next year.

I can never bring myself to root for Miami, but watching Ohio suffer brings me joy

If Miami keeps this up, the state of Ohio will burn for NYE. I'm in favor of this.

Finished Fall of Light and I did... Not like it. But I also think it's probably Erikson's best writing. It's just so dense that the experience was not enjoyable in any way. Re-reading this before Walk in Shadow is going to be rough.
