US based STOMP trial of tecovirimat (tpoxx) for clade 2 mpox fails to demonstrate efficacy benefit. Just as it did not in PALM 007 in clade 1 mpox in DRC. There is no known treatment for mpox Vaccination is the key control strategy and more research is needed. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38190312/
