People seem to not understand how this is going to go. 1. People will die because they can’t afford their healthcare. 2. People will drop their insurance because they can’t afford it, making ALL of our premiums rise, private insurance included. Contact your senators, tell them to vote to extend!

Oligarchy (noun): A government of and by a few at the top, who exercise power for their own benefit. Their power and wealth increase as they make laws that favor themselves, manipulate financial markets, and create monopolies that put more wealth into their pockets.

What the KENNEDY Center used to be… Remember that time Aretha Franklin performed at the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors, paying tribute to Carole King, who co-wrote “You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman,” and it brought a tear to Obama’s eye and everyone to their feet? And Carole King’s reaction. Wow.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person. The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person. People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives. And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

Does anyone notice how all the headlines about Trump's flagrantly illegal actions and orders simply describe what he's doing, and rarely even mention that it breaks the law? The newspapers and news outlets have given up on the idea that the law even exists, apparently.
