The tube strike absolutely inconveniences everyone! But many disabled people play TFL "on hard mode" every day. I'm glad not to live in London, and must plan excessively when I go (although I love it!) Because most of the tube is (largely) permanently inaccessible/always on strike, for me.

Very interesting paper! Uses huge multinational samples including in the UK, the UK biobank, as well as cutting edge analyses,- Gamms,- and a brilliant (continuous) measure of urbanity-rurality to look at location differences in mental health. Finds a nuanced and very useful picture!

Remember: there is no such thing as a natural disaster. The hazard may be natural, but how humans prepare and respond is a choice. It’s always a choice.
