And actually, on that note - apparently a lot of people have been getting cheap canned goods from Amazon. Inevitably, they are dented. Like, DENTED. One can this week had a dent that took up one whole side and went halfway through the can. Don’t use Amazon for this.

At my food pantry shift this week, a small girl about 6 or 7 came by with her dad. They came just to drop off a bag of food that she helped collect, and they were invited in to see the volunteers sorting. We all thanked her profusely - she looked super happy and her dad asked how to volunteer.

I think about this every time my kid does some math homework.
