The spots above are great places to play already & one already used by a forest school (ran by the local primary school). The main issue in both is dogs off leads, dog poo and, sometimes, litter - a fence & a sign or two would make a big difference to who felt safe/welcome to play here

This is going to kill a lot of trees. If you see a “spring maintenance” or “mulching and weeding” day coming up at a tree planting organisation near you, JUMP ON IT. Everyone wants to plant the tree, but barely anyone wants to help keep them alive. Maintenance is more important than planting.

A wind turbine blade being transported inland from the harbour near where I live. They built a special truck that can transport them in a vertical position, because Wick's streets can't accommodate their length. The seagulls got very upset!
