Once upon a time I bought programs that came in a box. I would install them on the computer and there they would stay until I uninstalled them. They worked the same way every day. I didn’t have to worry about some guy in Seattle or San Francisco rearranging the buttons and menus overnight.

I think you're right with 1990-2010 though. I don't even think it's rose-tinted specs, it feels like a pretty large chunk of enthusiasts of various ages would rate that period pretty highly.

Kids are finally old enough to start cracking open some of my favourite games for family game night. DOS2 is first up. Side note, it’s wild to me that Larian made this game run on an iPad and be cross platform compatible with PC. We’re playing on Linux, Windows PC and an iPad Air m2.

Got my new daily driver headphones (Moondrop Old Fashioned)! Lovely clear highs and mids, but with less of a brassy punch than my zx110s. Lighter and more comfortable than the Sonys as well; the foam pads are better than the plastic leather. Great headphones for the price.
