Family vehicle update: Very happy with the Ioniq 5 so far. They really nailed this thing, a nearly perfect family vehicle circa 2026. Looking around, it feels like a great time to own a full EV and the deal ($5k off, 0% loan) was tremendous. After 3 months, GM is buying back our unfixable Volt.

We test drove a Mach-E. Cabin felt shockingly snug compared to Ioniq 5, where is my EV skateboard roominess? Who needs this much screen? I don't. Interior seemed well put together but less well thought out than the Hyundai. On the plus side, comfy seats and BlueCruise.
