If you give me GenAI shit for concept art I won't do the project. It tells me you don't actually trust my skill to turn a rough sketch into a final piece nor do you have good enough communication skills to convey what you actually want. This is the map I created based on their initial concept art.

Y'all, I am VERY excited to introduce you to one of my new favorite Tolkien artists: Kay Woollard (1924-2008). Woollard first read LotR in '79 when she was 55. From then until her death, she was heavily involved in Tolkien fan culture, contributing illustrations to Tolkien Society publications. A🧵

I spent over a year working on this magazine. I know that during the layout and copyediting stages, I read and reread every word. But it is still so fun to read when you have it in your hands. It turned out so well!
