When you become chronically ill, you have to process a lot of loss. Loss of independence. Of friends & family who can’t accept that you’re not “getting better”. Loss of the comfort that comes from believing the medical system will help you when you need it. Loss of autonomy & hope for the future.

When i take a gummy and the pain relief kicks in I, for lack of a better term, get the zoomies. I start doing thinks around the house that I normally can’t, I get to focus on my projects, my brain is free of everything except the ADHD. I wish this was possible unmedicated.

I don't know about anyone else but I WANT the taxes I pay to support disabled people. RIght now it goes to mostly bombs and embossed government stationary. Paying a disabled person's rent is a much better use of my money.
