It's been a looooong week, but I'll have more bug updates coming soon! Took some time for Jill, planned and got through a birthday party, and a lot of doctors appointments. While we wait for me to get back into the groove of things, I figured I'll give some health updates in a thread

I've been trying to figure out just how to make this post, but I don't think I'll ever quite figure it out. On April 2nd, we had to make the incredibly difficult decision to put Jill to sleep. I could go on forever about how much we loved her. I'm going to miss her for a lifetime.

4 days late on the update but she's cone free! Recovered great and it only took her a day or two to realize she didn't have to tuck her cone under the water bowl to drink anymore 😂

It was Coco's turn at the vet today. He was not a fan 😂 Cats get to go tomorrow and it almost feels like I'm using bluesky as a pet account at this point

Jill is home! She's doing well and getting rest 💚 She's not quite used to the cone yet and keeps bumping it into things, but at least she makes a cute lamp 😂 Stitches get removed on the 26th so hopefully she gets a bit more used to it soon

But why tho (He ripped the straw out and made me chase him down to get it back)

Because my dog enjoys being a drama queen, she has to stay another night at the vet. She got a little too excited when she came out to see us and ended up busting a blood vessel 🤦‍♀️ Vet said she should be able to come home tomorrow!

Surgery was today! Just got the call and was told she did well and is resting comfortably 💚 picking her up in a few hours

The cat bed I keep on my desk is now a dog bed I guess? 😂

Our old lady Jill goes in for surgery this week. I bet she comes home looking 10 years younger, I think she made a pact with some ancient being for immortality.
