After the snail kite’s primary food source, native apple snails began to decline due to drought & water diversion issues, its pop began 2 recover after adapting to eat non-native apple snails. Unfortunately, both the non-native apple snail and snail kite populations have begun to decline again.

Sometimes I wonder if the people designing those waist-slimming "illusion" dresses are aware that they're employing the exact same technique as ant-mimic bugs. I see someone wearing this and just think that's not going to fool me I know you're not an ant.

Young entomologist George Hudson worked as a postal clerk & was frustrated with the limited daylight he had left after work to collect bugs. He offered a solution: shift the clocks back 2 hours during the summer months. He proposed this to the Wellington Philosophical Society in 1895 & 1898.
